Wow! This has been the busiest week I've had in a while. I arrived in Wilmington, N.Car., late last Saturday and have been going ever since.

It's really exciting filming my first movie. It's a completely different experience than anything I've ever done before — longer days for a much smaller amount of scenes. We usually shoot about 5-6 pages a day and that has been averaging about 12 hours a day!

The cast and crew of Port City are really great though and a lot of fun to work with.  I couldn't have asked for a more fun experience.

Cody and Zoie came with me too, of course! They've been getting to spend a lot of good “baby & daddy” time together while I'm at work. I have this weekend off, so we are planning on heading out to tour around and do some touristy things.

We went to Wrightsville Beach yesterday for lunch on the water. The beaches are totally different here than in California!

I can't believe we've been here for a week already. With only one more week of filming, it'll go by quickly. I definitely miss home!
