Okay, so fans of Jodie Sweetin are demanding more details on this spectacular star of the
now-syndicated "Full House." Yep, Jodes is da bomb, all right, and Celebrity Sightings is
the place to get the inside scoop on this lovely and talented teen actress! So, we've talked
Disneyland, birthdays, bagels, and the X-Files, but there's definitely more that dedicated
Jodie fans need to hear! For instance, did ya know Jodie skipped Kindergarten? She's a
year younger than everybody else in her class, so she won't turn sixteen until January '98 even though she's already a junior in high school! As she said, "A lot of my friends are in
my grade, but a lot of them are older than me, too because I'm young for my grade. So
it's always been kind of difficult, but I'm glad, because I tend to fit in with older people
anyway. "

In other news, you know Jodes is a rockin' (and way-experienced) actress, but did you know she'd also like to do some work behind the camera? That's right, this girl definitely wants to stay in Hollywood! As she put it, "... I love being in front of the camera, but I've thought it would be really interesting to be behind the camera and see from that perspective. And I really want to stay in entertainment, cause it's wonderful. It's fun and you meet a lot of great people. It's a different job. Not everyone does it."
So who are Jodie Sweetin's directorial idols? Well, she really admires Steven Spielberg,
who she says is "Just amazing.

Everything he touches turns to gold." She also digs Quentin Tarantino, and is fascinated by his best known film, "Pulp Fiction." Here's what i she thought about the movie: "I really liked the directing. The way it was set up was, like, the end was at the beginning, then the middle, then the beginning again, and then the end. It was really confusing, and you kind of have to see it a few times to understand it. But. I think that makes a good movie, cause then you're like, sitting there, and you really want to pay attention! " Jodie Sweetin is a girl of many talents. Did you know she's trained as a singer? She studies musical theatre at her performing arts high school, and says she might like to do a stint on Broadway... Who knows, she might be the next celeb to join the ever-changing, star-studded cast of "Grease!

SPOOKY PSYCmC DREAMS AND PHOBIAS

Sounds like there's a lot going on behind Jodie's blue-green eyes, and not just when she's wide awake! Miss Sweetin is a vivid (and kinda psychic!) dreamer. Here's what she had to say about those sub-conscious movies in her mind: "I dream a lot, like every night, and it's cool. Sometimes I'll have dreams, and then the next day something will happen, and it's the same exact thing that happened in my dream the night before, or the week before!
Something will happen, like a conversation or an event, and I'm like, wow, I dreamt about
this last week. I mean, did this already happen? Have we had this conversation?" Talk
about deja-vu! Call it ESP, R.E.M., or just something Jodie picked up from habitually
watching "The X-Files," but it's a pretty sweet talent, no matter how you look at it!Most
dreamers experience the occasional nightmare, and Jodie has a rather scary recurring one: "Drowning. I have this recurring dream that I'm drowning.

I love to swim, but if anyone pushes me under the water, I freak out." Maybe that means she's just taking on too much, trying to balance a busy life as an actress, student, and regular teenager! Interestingly, she's also a bit claustrophobic - this girl likes her freedom, thank you! "In my classrooms" I always ask the teachers if there's any way I can keep the doors open a little bit, 'cause when the door's shut and there's no window or anything, I feel really trapped. But if there's like a window or something, not necessarily open, but just so I can see outside, then I'm okay.." Hey, we all have our idiosyncrasies - we're glad Jodes canjust crack a window whenever she's feeling stifled...

THE BUZZ ON FOOD - JODESDISHES HER LIKES AND DISLIKES

We asked Jodie about her fave foods, and found out that what she really likes is Chocolate - anything that's as sweet as her name! "Oh, that's my problem. Really bad sweet tooth. Chocolate cake, I love that. Cheesecake, definitely." It's not like she's a sugar addict or anything, Jodie just likes the occasional treat. We wondered if she has to have something sweet everyday, and she replied, "Not all day, every day, but just a little something, like those little miniature Snickers bars;... or like a little cookie or something. Her absolute favorite, though, is an old family recipe affectionately known as "Grandma Sweetin's Chocolate Gravy." Before you get grossed out, hang on, 'causelodieassuredus it's much better than it sounds! "Everyone's like, eeeeeewww, you put meat and chocolate together? It has no meat in it. It's not like gravy that you put over mashed potatoes. It's like chocolate syrup. You put it over biscuits Oh my gosh, it's so good!

You take, like, Hershey's chocolate and sugar and milk, so it's thick like gravy, but it's a chocolate sauce. It's a breakfast treat." Sounds kind of tasty when you put it that way - don't knock it till you try it! There's only one food Jodie just can't stand to see on her plate: "I don't like peas. They're weird. But I do eat vegetables and fruit and stuff like that." In fact, aside from, say, split-pea soup, Jodie is a totally adventurous eater. She loves Thai food, and says, "I'm one of those people who will try anything." Cool! Although Jodie has been to Canada and Mexico, she has yet to travel overseas; Sounds like she'd pack up in a second, though, if given the chance! "I totally want to go to Europe. The United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Paris, Italy, I would love to go there. It really interests me 'cause it has such a history." Bon voyage, Jodes!

OOPS! EVEN CELEBS HAVE EMBARRASSING MOMENTS

Okay, how do we put this delicately There's no denying that Jodie Sweetin is both beautiful and poised, but we have to tell you~ she isn't exactly known for her grace! In fact, she kind of has a reputation for randomly tripping. Here's the 411 on that whole sense-of-balance thing: "Well, I'm known for falling and tripping, 'cause, like, I can do anything else, but walking is just a severe problem for me! I'll just walk and trip over air - nothing even has to be there. I would fall so much on the set [of "Full House."] One year, they had all the out-takes from the whole year, and there was just this whole five or ten minute section of me just repeatedly falling! So that's my most embarrassing moment." Hey, don't sweat it, Jodes! She may take a few spills, but we're certain this cute girl does it with style!
