“Full House” star Jodie Sweetin has become a mommy!

Twenty-six year old Sweetin and her hubby, Cody Herpin welcomed their baby on Saturday, as celebrity magazine People reported. The newborn is a girl and her name is Zoie.

Sweetin delivered Zoie via C-section on Saturday afternoon. The baby is weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and is 21 in. long. The family is delighted with the arrival of their daughter.

“Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie,” the actress' publicist said in a statement.

Actress Jodie Sweetin and set designer Cody Herpin said their vows on July 14, 2007 in a small ceremony that took place at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas . It was the second time for the actress to walk down the aisle. At the time, she expressed her great happiness by telling People: “Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn't ask for anything more. He's an unbelievable person.”

Her pregnancy was announced in September and back then there were rumors that she had given her sonograms to celebrity site TMZ.com. The Celebrity Baby Blog announced in January that she was due to give birth on April 6 and also revealed that she was expecting a baby girl.

Jodie Sweetin became famous with her role as little Stephanie Tanner in hit TV series “Full House,” in which she starred against twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
