Jodie Sweetin's Growing up - and Outta' the House!
What's Next For Full House's Fair-Haired Stephanie? The Sky's The Limit!

Now that Full House is officially gone for good (except in reruns, natch) you might be wonderin' about cute n' perky Jodie Sweetin, who's played smart n' perky Stephanie since she was a 5-year-old tyke. What's up for her now?

Don't stress too much--cause the 13-year-old bundle of energy isn't worried. Pretty Jodie is growing up and looking forward to her future big time. "Being on the show all those years was great," says Jodie. "But I'm ready to start over." Jodie really loves acting and wants to get better at it. She's signing up for drama classes and may one day even be in a play.

And if she has her way, Jodie, who's finishing up eighth grade, will start an entirely new career--singing! She has a fabulous voice and wants to improve it. "I'm really interested in singing and taking lessons," says Jodie. "I took lessons when I was like, four, and I did recitals. One of my dreams now is to do a Broadway musical--that would be so fun!"

The Girl just wants to have fun!
Before Jodie jumps into another project, she's going to take some time out to really enjoy herself this summer. She'll be hanging with her friends (especially her best bud Tia), chattin' on the phone and riding her bike and heading out to some favorite shops. (Shoes and hats always put Jodie in a "buy" mode). And now that Full House is no longer in production, Jodie will finally have some time to herself. "I was always so busy all the time," says Jodie. "It's nice to have time to be with your friends and just be normal."

But She'll Miss 'em!
One of the saddest things for Jodie was saying good-bye to her Full House family. After all, she's been hanging with her TV sisters Candace Cameron and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for a lot of years--and she's gotten totally tight with Andrea Barber, who played next-door neighbor Kimmie. "I'm an only child," says Jodie. "Having all those 'sisters' around was terrific. It was just like having a huge family in real life. I'll definitely miss seeing them all every day."

But even though it's not easy to say "bye," Jodie really is concentrating on what lies ahead, rather than what's behind her. "There are so many things I want to do," she says. "I can't wait to get a chance to do all of them!"
