Jodie Sweetin:
"I'm Nice to Everybody!"

BOP's Geoff: You've been doing Full House since 1987. Was acting your own idea, or did your parents push you into it, or what?

Jodie: It was actually a bunch of peoples' ideas. When I was little, I was kind of a ham, and everybody kept telling my mom, 'You really should get her into commercials and stuff.' So we got an agent, and we did some commercials, and then I did a guest spot on Valerie [a sitcom which later was renamed The Hogan Family]. When I was four-and-a-half, they had Full House in development, and they asked, 'Would you like to do Full House?' That was it.

Geoff: How do you think your castmates would describe you?

Jodie: As fun, hopefully. I'm nice to everybody, and--

Geoff: --that's not what they tell me. Just kidding! Anyway, you were saying?

Jodie: I think I'm nice to everybody! I spend a lot of time wiht Blake and Dylan [the twins who play Alexander and Nicholas]. I'm kinda like the big sister.

Geoff: Oh, that's cool! What do you do with them?

Jodie: We just, like, hang out, and they play games with me, or I play games with them. Stuff like that.

Geoff: What do you think of the sotries on the show? Is there anything your character Stephanie does that you wish she wouldn't?

Jodie: I think the storylines are always good. They always have a moral at the end, you know? They always teach a lesson or somehting. So in that way, they're all great!
